Appropriate prescription
Only a good product prescription -especially when choosing glasses with added value or distinctive technical characteristics- ensures the achievement of the design projected by the architect or designer. If it is not taken into account in its correct identification, the finished work may have nothing to do with the selected product or the valued samples.
To ensure that the acid-etched satin glass products selected on the Project are used by the contractor, glazier and installer, the following information should be included in the prescription:
- Manufacturer's name
- Product Make, Series and Model
- Glass thickness
- Base (float, mirror or lacquered)
- Color (clear, extra-clear, gray, bronze, green, blue and/or lacquer colors)
- Specify if one or two matte sides and other finishes are desired
- Required certifications and standards.
Sevasa glasses are produced with float glass in accordance with national and international regulations in force, and the certifications of the technical glasses are endorsed by the most prestigious independent international laboratories. It is important to ensure this guarantee in the product prescription to avoid later surprises.
