Designed by architect Norman Foster, Wembley's 90,000-capacity super stadium replaces the old 1923 stadium and is the largest in England.
The new Wembley Stadium is part of the ambitious project for the London 2012 Olympic Games and is connected to the busy Wembley Park and Wembley Central subway stations via the White Horse Bridge.
Foster's pharaonic work in collaboration with Partners and HOK Sport (Populous) took five years to build.
The numbers of the stadium are remarkable, besides being the most expensive stadium in history so far, it is approximately four times the height of the original stadium, in addition to having a one kilometer circumference.
The roof, with its iconic steel arch, is symbolic of the New Wembley.
Regarding SEVASA's glass, we participated in this project with thirty-six giant circular skylights, integrated in a pavement area of one hundred and twenty-seven square meters, on the new Grand Staircase, with our glass. CriSamar STEP Lunaris-X.
